Bangkok: Purr Cat Cafe

On my last day since I wasn’t able to shop as my luggage is all packed and ready to go, I thought I’ll spend a relatively chill-out day, checking out the much raved about Purr Cat Cafe. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that this cafe was opened by a celebrity. It’s pretty much a one stop shop for all feline stuff. There’s a salon for grooming, you can get cat supplies and pick up some kitschy tokens.

The cafe is located some distance away from the city centre, in a residential estate. I would say it’s kind of in the uptown/upscale area.

Once you enter the cafe, you’ll be asked to switch your shoes for their inhouse slippers and also to wash your hands and spritz on some anti-bacterial gel.

Where I was seated, I thought the cupboard was so smart!

It was made with cubby holes for the cats to weave in and out

You’ll be handed the cat rules and also a menu

I thought the architecture of the place was well planned. Cats that are sick of humans can climb up to the balcony

I had a pretty visitor who stuck by me all day

Tiny fluffballs

This is a separate isolated cage from the mummy kitty. I think.. this is a potential daddy and mummy
