Hong Kong Day 3

Day 3: Tim Ho Wan, Stanley Market, sneaker shopping

We were all greedy pigs so we woke up super early (by my standard) to queue for dim sum at Tim Ho Wan, the 1-star Michelin restaurant. I think there were a few branches, we were at the very first store I believe. The place was full of tourists looking to satisfy their dim sum craving.

If I’m not wrong, we were there about 9.45am. We were seated in the second sitting, I think we waited about 1 hour 10 minutes.

Was it good? Definitely, for the price – I think it averaged out to about $SGD9.25/each for five persons. We ordered approximately 15 dishes to share. The char siew baos were to die for.

We were supposed to head to Zhu Hai/Shen Zhen as planned initially but we decided to ditch it because the ferry tickets were very expensive and it wasn’t like any of us wants to gamble. So we decided to be touristy (again) and with the power of Google, we settled on Stanley Market.
