Bali Green Spa (Kuta, Seminyak)
I usually like to round up my holiday with a massage, best to get home to a hectic life by relaxing on the last day.
Bali Green Spa was one of the recommended spas I found on TripAdvisor but to be honest, I don’t think the massage was anything in particular to rave about. However, they do have one great service (no naughty thoughts guys, PG here).
The front is pretty unimaginative, I wouldn’t have given it a second look on any day. You walk through a long indoor walkway and you get to the garden.
You check out the prices and decide on your massage here (above pic) . The massages are offered at half price, “Internet price”, they claimed. I don’t understand why they should not just offer the half price as the original price. Perhaps, consumers feel they get a better deal?
The massages are done in pavilions such as the below. There is no air conditioning and on a warm day, it gets quite humid. It’s kind of a different massage experience, I think, almost like you are close to the nature. After your massage, you can take a shower.
Tip: Bring your own toiletries to the pavilion.
The good thing is that, Bali Green Spa, offers a free pick up service to and fro in the main areas of Kuta and Seminyak.
So on my last day, I had them pick me up in Legian (where I was staying) with my luggage in tow and had them drop me at the airport. That way, I saved quite a bit on taxi transportation. Do note that free pick up available only if you reserve before hand.
Prices of massages and treatments are available online.
